2011 Syrah

Appellation: WA, Columbia Valley
Varietal Content: 100% free run Sara Lee Syrah
Alcohol Content: 14.8%

Tasting Notes: This Syrah was aged on lees for 22 months in 1 and 2 year old Taransaud, Francois Freres, and Seguin Moreau barriques. This wine looms large with legs to Rhône-a-marathon. The wine was bottled in May 2014 and released in 2015. This bottle belongs to a limited portion of fewer than 25 cases reserved for extended aging for release 2020 and ready to be enjoyed now or during the next decade. The ripe juicy fruits, blackberries, plum, floral violet, licorice, and spice characters will complement the heartiest of fare.
